About Me
Hi, I’m Asau 👋
Welcome to Zevan’s Tech — my personal space where I share things I’ve learned (and am still learning) about networking, systems, and all things IT.
I’ve been working in the IT field for around 20 years, mostly in ISP and hosting environments. Over the years, I’ve handled everything from Linux system administration, web & mail hosting, virtualization (VMware & Proxmox), to network setup and configuration (routers, switches, firewalls). I also work with tools like WordPress and cPanel on a regular basis.
I’ve had the chance to join several APNIC/APRICOT workshops and conferences, which really helped me grow and connect with the wider tech community. I also completed my VMware vSphere certification along the way.
This blog is simply my way of giving back — sharing knowledge, experiences, tips, and sometimes lessons learned the hard way 😄. I especially hope it can help people in Timor-Leste who are interested in IT or just getting started.
